How to fix the leak – 3 easy steps

Identifying a leak in a container is as simple as going inside the container in the daylight, closing the doors and searching for light. Once a hole is identified, locate it on the outside of the unit and mark it.

Step 1 – Clean, dry and free of any debris the surface you are going to apply the patch. Take a cloth with you and maybe a wire brush if you’ve got some surface rust. You can take a grinder with a wire brush attachment for more serious rust issues. After cleaning, cut Quick Patch into any size you want, without exposing it to UV / Sunlight. Place remaining material back in the protective bag.

Step 2 – Remove white backing tape to expose the sticky resin. Apply Quick Patch to repair area with sticky side down and press firmly.

Step 3 – After applying the patch, remove transparent film backing on the other side after application and expose to UV or Sunlight. hardening time depends on UV intensity, between 5 minutes (sunny) and 50 minutes (cloudy) or use a UV light indoors with a minimum of 51 lumens.
